My Writing Process Blog Tour

Standard

Ed Gellock was invited by Jaro Berce to take part in the Writing Process blog tour.  Ed was kind enough to issue the invitation to me.  Its purpose is to showcase different authors all over the world.  Ed wrote a book about his dog, Lynyrd.  Strange name, yes, but there is history behind it.  Check it out on his site by clicking on his name above.

What am I working on?

Currently, I am working on the next book in the series of Sam, the Superkitty. I haven’t decided yet whether to separate the stories and make a book for each or to combine three stories as I did in the first book. It will be a surprise!

How does my work differ from those of the same genre?

Since I’m writing about my own cat, I may personalize my writing more than other authors. My publisher told me I had a unique way of writing, whatever that meant!

Why do I write what I do?

Many people want to write the “Great American Novel”. I was no different. Never had the time, but the desire was still there. However, when I became a cat person, it was so entertaining to watch the crazy things my younger cat would do. It was too cute and needed to be shared. There are so many cat people on the Internet. I had a natural audience.

How does my writing process work?

My immediate answer is, “I don’t know”. Doesn’t sound too intelligent, does it? Truth be known, I have the “raw material” in front of me everyday. My imagination has always been very active, so it doesn’t take much to get me going.

Sam, the Superkitty, can be found on Amazon in paperback and Kindle form. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1604588667
